PiP Chemicals has teamed up with the government JobStart scheme to offer the chance of a young person to become a manufacturing assistant at the growing Newtownards company.
The successful candidate will work in the production area and will be involved in all levels of production including goods in and out, stock management, manufacturing of our vehicle cleaning products and bottling and packaging.
Working as a part of a small team, full training will be provided in all areas of the operation which will include training to obtain a forklift licence, use of a stock controller Enterprise Resource Planning system and operation using a computerised Warehouse Management System.
This is an exciting role giving the opportunity to really gain skills in an in-demand area and become a long term member of our team.
Whilst it would be advantageous to have some interest in chemistry or car care and detailing, this is not required. All we ask is for the drive to learn and succeed – if you can give us those, we’ll make sure you will meet those goals!
