Job Opportunity: Production/Manufacturing Lead (Chemical)

06 June 2021

We’re looking for an experienced Production/Manufacturing Lead to join our team.

  • Do you want to be part of a future thinking team and make use of the best systems manufacturing has to offer?
  • Do you have production and manufacturing experience?
  • Are you detail focused and keen to continuously improve?

Then PIP Chemicals want to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For:

We want an enthusiastic new team member, who will be central to our production facility.

In your new role, you will be the lead manufacturer, working closely with Operations Manager to produce chemical products, according to customer requirements. You will work to achieve agreed targets, on a daily basis, and be part of the team seeking to continuously improve processes and efficiency, where you can make your voice and experience heard and contribute to real progress.

You won’t be expected to – necessarily – have experience as a chemical manufacturer. Our systems are such that – after training – it’s just a case of following the recipe! It’s not quite making scrambled eggs, but if you’ve experience working in production, are systematic in your approach, follow instructions and complete paper work, you’ll do great! The only thing we do ask for is a current counterbalance forklift licence – as a critical part of most processes, competence here is required.

Your New Employer:

Based in Newtownards, Northern Ireland, PIP Chemicals manufacture a broad range of cleaning and care chemicals, mainly focused on the automotive and biocidal sectors. We have doubled turnover in the last two years and are investing in our team to ensure our continued success.

Our Production Team is compact, and we are looking for someone who will be able to make a real contribution and help ensure that our products remain leaders in their classes with superb quality, throughout the process.

We offer a competitive salary, pension, private health package, and 28 days annual leave.
